We're excited to announce new features to help production companies better control their organizational setup, permissions, and payroll processing workflows in Wrapbook. With Org Hierarchies you can now seamlessly replicate your real-world organizational structure within Wrapbook.

New Organizational Unit (OU) settings enable you to create business units in Wrapbook and assign people and projects to them so that you can easily control access and permissions across your entire production company. In addition, you can now setup multiple Production Entities (PEs) in Wrapbook and select which projects are run through each entity.

We're excited to announce that you can now duplicate projects in Wrapbook! This new feature allows you to duplicate project details from previous projects which makes project creation faster and more efficient. To duplicate a project, locate the project in the All Projects Dashboard, click the three-dot menu next to the project, and click Duplicate. Input the new project's name, start and end dates, shoot days, and project number and you're good to go! 

Creating a project in Wrapbook is now more flexible and collaborative than ever before! Now when creating a project in Wrapbook, you can:

• Input project details section by section, save progress, and return to project setup through a new Draft tab on the All Projects Dashboard.
• Collaborate with multiple team members to complete project setup.
• Access and manage project settings while in draft mode to set up production accounting, approval workflows, and other project specific settings.

It’s easier than ever to add a work location to a project in Wrapbook. 

Now, all you need to know is the city and state of the shooting location in order for you to add it to a project. This means you won’t need to know precise shooting addresses upfront—you can add them later and still keep things moving.

Please note, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Oregon, and Pennsylvania work locations require full addresses for local tax reporting purposes.

Productions using Wrapbook's Production Accounting Suite can now reverse and reverse and reissue posted, unpaid AP transactions and posted Journal Entries without having to manually create reversing entries. This enhancement streamlines error correction, adjustment, and reconciliation processes so that it's easy to maintain accurate reporting and proper audit trails.

Wrapbook now makes it easy to pay bonuses to workers. 

Simply go to Timecards & Expenses, select Add Expense/Allowance, choose Other > Wages [Taxable], and select Bonus under Wage Type. From there, just enter the details and you're all set!

We've added new filters and reporting columns to the General Ledger in Wrapbook's Production Accounting Suite to help you build the GL to your exact needs. Enhancements to the General Ledger include: 

• Additional filters including vendor, asset, and description
• New report columns like PO# and asset
• Options to include or exclude specific data like distribution changes
• Enhanced grouping options for more detailed reports

You now have access to new features when creating and editing startwork in Wrapbook.

You can:

• Upload your own startwork [DOCX or PDF]
• Apply Smart Fields to documents
• Edit documents with standard word-processing tools [Font type, font size, bold/italic/underline, text color, line spacing, inserting tables, bullets, numbering, indentation, etc.]
• Allow workers or production team members to initial and sign documents multiple times.
