Streamlined Account Coding for Allowances

Now you can assign default accounting codes to worker allowances during the hiring process and they’ll automatically carry over to timecards.

When hiring a worker, just look for the option to “Assign codes for all allowances.”

Earnings Report for Workers

Workers can now access and download an earnings report in either CSV or PDF format.

The report will reflect the criteria set by the selected filters. 

To download, workers should navigate to Payments, select worker type and payment type, and click Download.

Startwork: New fields and icon updates

Startwork Creator now supports new interactive elements, such as text fields, checkboxes, and radio buttons.

Plus, smart fields and signatures will now appear as icons instead of text, offering a cleaner and more intuitive user experience.

Enhanced startwork tools

You now have access to new features when creating and editing startwork in Wrapbook.

You can:

  • Upload your own startwork [DOCX or PDF]
  • Apply Smart Fields to documents
  • Edit documents with standard word-processing tools [Font type, font size, bold/italic/underline, text color, line spacing, inserting tables, bullets, numbering, indentation, etc.]
  • Allow workers or production team members to initial and sign documents multiple times.

Production Accounting Suite: Multiple Budgets

Productions using Wrapbook's Production Accounting Suite can now manage multiple budgets for a single project. With multiple budgets: 

  • Isolate and report on costs for individual episodes, mini-projects, webisodes, and more
  • Create project-specific or consolidated cost reports across budgets.
  • Handle location-specific costs more effectively

Shooting a project in Massachusetts?

You can now designate projects in Wrapbook as Massachusetts Tax Credit projects, making loan-out payments eligible for tax credits.

When creating a project in Massachusetts, you’ll see a prompt asking if it’s a Massachusetts Tax Credit project. 

Selecting “Yes” will enable Wrapbook to automatically collect Massachusetts Withholding IDs and withhold the appropriate state income taxes for loan-outs.

Pay at scale rate

Need to pay union workers at scale? You can now do it with a single click, automatically.

Just set the pay rate to adjust to the scale rate throughout your project in Company Settings > Worker Hiring. 

With the toggle turned on, when you invite a worker, select the Pay at scale rate option. Once that’s selected, any increases in the relevant union agreement will be automatically applied, so you can rest assured that you’re paying your crew compliantly.

Add shifts to a paid timecard

You can now add missing shifts to a timecard even after it’s been marked as paid.

Simply open the timecard, select Add Day[s], enter the details, and click Save & Calculate.

Key features:

  • Clear notifications: See when a timecard was modified and what changes were made.
  • Version history: Both workers and companies can view versions of timecards showing changes, dates, statuses, and payments.
