Increased flexibility for adding work locations

It’s easier than ever to add a work location to a project in Wrapbook.

Now, all you need to know is the city and state of the shooting location in order for you to add it to a project. This means you won’t need to know precise shooting addresses upfront—you can add them later and still keep things moving.

Please note, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Oregon, and Pennsylvania work locations require full addresses for local tax reporting purposes.

Shooting a project in Massachusetts?

You can now designate projects in Wrapbook as Massachusetts Tax Credit projects, making loan-out payments eligible for tax credits.

When creating a project in Massachusetts, you’ll see a prompt asking if it’s a Massachusetts Tax Credit project.

Selecting “Yes” will enable Wrapbook to automatically collect Massachusetts Withholding IDs and withhold the appropriate state income taxes for loan-outs.

2025 is right around the corner! Start planning for year end now

Three ways to get ahead of year end and wrap the year smoothly:

  1. Plan for Holiday Bank Closures. If your planned payroll date falls on a bank holiday, please plan for additional payroll processing time to avoid any delays in payment.
    • Monday, November 11th (Veterans Day)
    • Thursday, November 28th (Thanksgiving Day)
    • Wednesday, December 25th (Christmas Day)
    • Wednesday, January 1st (New Year's Day)
  2. Request reversals for any YTD payrolls. If you need to request a reversal for any payroll processed between January 1st - present, you must do so before 5pm ET on Friday, November 22nd, 2024.
  3. Double-check your worker classifications. Make sure your workers are classified correctly as employees, loan-outs, or contractors. The deadline to update classifications is 5pm ET on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025. If you find a worker that is misclassified, please reach out to support@wrapbook.com as soon as possible.
